Here's the bulk of the information upfront, I'm really sad to say that the livestream today is cancelled & is postponed for this Thursday, same time. 5pm-9pm, PST. I've updated our scheduled event for the livestream to reflect this.
Here's why our Valentines date was ruined... I wanted to treat y'all to something really special since I was getting close to some pretty areas in Yosemite. I found an Aribnb 4 something hours away, I was really excited when I saw the listing with the outdoor shower, claw tub overlooking a beautiful flowing stream with complete privacy. The listing advertised instant hot water, private swimming holes, and the porch area with the tub covered in twinkle lights for nice lighting at night. Although the place was pricey, I decided to book if for our Valentines stream to do something special since my last few streams have been out of my tent. After a day of travelling - packing up my camper, driving, and moving all my shit to this new place; I went to explore the property. My dog Nessie and I went to the swimming spot and we played for a bit, I ended up covered in sand and freezing but it was fun. I decided to walk over to the porch with the shower and tub to bathe myself and Nessie to warm up. But, the water no worky. So I contacted the host and she said, "Oh yeah, that doesn't work right now and I don't have the parts I need to fix it." Therefore, both the shower and hot tub that were the main attractions advertised were not working and the spot that I had intended to stream from sort of ruined. This isn't the worst part though, the part that ruined everything was the lack of high speed internet ALSO advertised. In these remote areas, I often times rely on data bonding for good connections to stream on OF. Unfortunately I had to depend on their internet, as my Starlink has issues in wooded areas with lots of trees. The internet was sooooo bad I couldn't even load my Onlyfans, I'm talking dial up speeds.
Originally I had booked 4 nights, spending around $500 on the place. Anyways, I decided to wait until the next morning to contact the host because it was so late in the day after travels and was literally unsafe for me to leave at that point. I've had to contact Airbnb support and am currently waiting to hear back and out money.
Sooooo I ended up spending all day yesterday packing up again, travelling, and finding a new area to stay in so I can get things sorted. I promise I will get you guys a good stream in <3 Again, I am soooo sorry and very sad things didn't work out the way I planned.
