Hello, friends. I ended up out of cell service for a night because after the 12 mile hike required to reach this waterfall, I was exhausted.
As you can see, it was worth every step. I can’t fully describe just how beautiful and fresh this area of Wyoming is.
I spontaneously decided to go on this hike the night before, and it ended up being one of the most beautiful I have ever done. 🥰 And I’ve been hiking around the world for many years.

Yesterday I went to camp at one of my favorite spots in the nearby National Forest only to discover it had been sold to a real estate developer and roped off. I went anyway, because fuck them and their sociopathic destruction of my beautiful garden planet.
The concept of private property is deranged malignant narcissism. We can’t OWN this 5 billion year old garden paradise. We are lucky to even exist on it for a brief moment in time.
Almost every indigenous culture views themselves as belonging to the Earth, and their most vital responsibility to be caring stewards of it.
Then a few hundred years ago a bunch of deranged white people in Europe decided that they would devise a system of pure madness where they suddenly owned other people and their land just because they wrote it down somewhere.
The end result is OVER HALF of all old-growth forests being bulldozed, often to graze animals who amount to nothing more than slaves whose lives are thrown away for a few shallow moments of taste pleasure, or to make paper products and furniture, both of which can be made from renewable crops that come to harvest in a few months. But the desires of timber corporations and livestock corporations far outweigh the rights of our planet or its inhabitants to survive under this cruel and soulless system.
This ideology has truly reached the cancer stage in our current real estate market, where regular folks are priced out of buying houses because hedge funds are paying well over the asking prices so they can own everything and trap us in indentured serfdom forever.
