Work was super rough, lots of meetings where people were yelling at each other and other stressors. and iChive was not helping. I'm going to take a break from theChive. I've come to realize that every time I log into iChive to post a picture, its more frustrating than fun thanks to the moderation. I think that they have some offshore company from Manila doing the moderation there and they're do a terrible job of it.. both of the Christmas pictures I've posted this week were taken down even though they're some of the mildest ones I've posted in awhile. I reuploaded them and someone else on shift allowed them. Its just SO INCONSISTENT. The ONLY thing that the mods are consistent with is being absolutely terrible to the Chivettes.. Its been just the worst year in forever for iChive and I feel like Chivettes are targeted in particular... and all the other Chivettes agree 💯, seeing how the spammers there never get punished. Something needs to change but I honestly am starting to think that theChive lost what made that company in Chicago and Venice Beach so special and have gotten so corporate that they don't care about their community contributors. Anyways.. thats my rant! This was supposed to be a bigger post but I'm just not feeling it tonight.
