Hi everyone!! Just gotta quick nighttime update for you..!! Work just totally wrecked me today... you wouldn't think that a Thursday could be quite so extra, but it was, and I'm just sooo ready to sleep. BUT!! I'm excited! At least I got my new Chive merch in the mail, and it was so worth it!!! I've gotten stuff from theChivery over the years but never anything in green, bc lets be honest, its my least favorite color 😂😂😂 I was also begging theChive to release new undies for so long, and then they did, and it was like..really? Whats this diaaper all about...? 😂 The old stuff was so much hotter! But finally they got me in their iconic T!! Anyways! A few months ago, Hendy told me that he'd do a Q&A with me for the site and he totally forgot 🤪, but, i wanted to answer the question that I get the most... how did I find out about theChive? Simple!! They stole my reddit pics 😂 ! I was still regularly posting on Reddit from 2012-2018 and kept getting DMs from people linking me to posts on theChive that featured my picture but didn't credit me at all. I was a little bit annoyed but it wasn't the end of the world...I even signed up on theChive in like, 2016/17?? so that nobody would steal my username. and I posted a patriotic pic, was kinda disappointed that it didnt get any attention, and didn't post after that. Then at one point, on Reddit, I commented about my Instagram on my own subreddit. The instant that I did, I got banned from /r/gonewild despite never making a penny for any of my posts since I started in 2012... Their mods crawled through like literally ALL my comments to find that one and just assumed I was trying to make money. The mods are the reason I hate Reddit!! After all those years of contributing, they just brought down the ban hammer just like that, its total incel tyranny there and its not a free or fair website. Meanwhile..! My Instagram had made it to 85,000 people, which i was so proud of...! I thought that maybe I had finally made something of myself... but, I logged in one day to find that I was banned, no explanation given. It was just devastating. All that time, all that work, for nothing!! I was totally crushed. And I decided to never again depend on just one site to build my community, like they can make you disappear with the blink of an eye...! And thats when I came back to theChive. I didn't know very much about it, but I started posting and posting, and it made me happy...! I loved the meme's, I loved the curated galleries, and I loved how mature and sweet everyone on iChive was. Its really a site full of really GOOD people, and it became my happy place. So KCCO you misfits, its been so much fun and thank you so much for helping get me in a good mood everyday, and I hope that I do the same for you..!! There's like, really, really good people working over there and they do so much good through their charities, and I'm just happy to be a part of it..!
