First day in St. Petersburg ð We traveled by car - left our hometown at about 6 am and arrived in SPb at about 4 pm next day. Our driver is great, drove us without any incidents ð Upon arrival, we checked into our friend's apartment. Old communal apartment, not the prettiest, but has all the necessary amenities. Most importantly, it's free ðĪŠâïļ Next, we decided to take a little walk around the neighborhood of the house (by the way, we lived quite close to the center, so we almost always got to the right place on foot). We went to the large shopping center "Gallery" - looked at what they sell there, and had lunch on the top floor, where the food courts are located. I had mac & cheese ðð§ The evening was calm.
